There used to be a little park next door to the hotel with the Brickell Mausoleum (empty shelves of course). This was in the early 1980s. Some graffiti artist had inscribed "you are my ghoul" on the side of the mausoleum.

This is the perfect picture to identify the Miami topgraphy of today: Two powerful mindless machines tearing away at the local landscape, changing it forever. But who cares?....certainly not the Miami officials who signed the demolition permit!
