No more tennis!
My friend Joyce Schweitzer and I bought digital cameras in November 2005 and we were taking an introductory class at South Broward Community School when the Miami Herald ran the article January 15, 2006 about the Absence of Place Project you are doing. Well, Joyce and I were very excited to see if we could take some pictures for the project since we used to be avid tennis players in the 1970s, '80s and '90s and knew many Tennis courts/Clubs that were now "absent".
So, we tried our new learned techniques and visited several sites in Miami-Dade County that used to be Tennis courts/clubs. And here are our photos for the Absence of Place Project.

Joyce and I bought our Tennis gear at Don's Golf and Tennis at Biscayne Boulevard and about NE 107th Street.
As it happens, Joyce and I are absent from the tennis place since neither one of us plays tennis anymore but we are still avid fans!
